Windows Update installed on wrong drive, Can I delete?

I noticed a couple folders on a 2nd harddrive on my system. This drive has
no O/S on it. It's just used for files, pictures etc..

I see 2 folders on this drive created on April 19, 2008.
1st Folder name: "a384ba08a64d573505850c7b"
They both contain another folder called "update", and contain a couple .dll
files and a file (Application) named update. The files shows as being from
Microsoft Corp.

I checked my Windows update log and indeed on that date a lot of updates
were installed.

My question: Since they're in the wrong place, can I move them to my Windows
folder on my C drive? Can updates be deleted? Or......am I stuck with these
2 folders on this drive?

Delete them - they were only created as temporary place holders during the
software installation.
