Windows Update Installs Same Update Again And Again

Every time I start Windows 2000, the Windows Update icon appears in the
Windows Taskbar and suggests me to install the update "Security Update
for Microsoft Data Access Components (KB832483)" but after installing
it, Windows Update tries to install it again next time I start Windows
2000. This problem seems to begin if I try install Windows Media Player
or any update for it:
