After installing the update for Cumulative Security Update for internet
explorer 6 SP1 (KB867801) the windows update still appear requiring me to
install (I tried installing it many times). I check on the registry file, it
does not appear to have record on it, so does the add/remove programs there.
What should I do? Any specialist? Thanks alot.
I'm using Window XP Home Edition SP1

I have had the same problem. I am using XP Pro, and I have automatic updates
turned on. Once it has installed, it tells me it has been successful. I then
count to 20 and it appears once again. Today I have installed this same
update 10 times. I have checked using the Microsoft Update site, which shows
installation history. I note that this has happened before as well. But this
particular update is getting very annoying.
