I am not clear as to what you are having trouble uninstalling.Are you able
to remove the .net 1.1 framework? If you can then its just a matter of
installing a new download of dotnet and plugging in the service pack
afterwards. The patch (KB886903) won't be applied if the .net is corrupt.
Windows Install Clean up can be used to remove the corrupted .net 1.1
framework. When you run it .net appears in the list...you highlight it and
click remove. Do you have Windows Install Cleanup on your computer now?
