Windows update for KB896358 doesnot install

Hi All,

This happens on my PC running Windows XP Proffesional- Service Pack 1.

Every time Windows update scans KB896358 appears. Though it reports
successful after installation. It appears back after subsequent reboots.
Has any one got any fixes for this?

I tried the standalone installation of kb896358 update and received an error
about "Access not allowed" when trying to backup a registry key
(HKLM\Software\Classes\Internet.HHCtrl). Somehow the sytem had no access to
this key; there was however a Internet.HHCtrl.1 key present, which leads me
to think there had been changes to this key before. Anwyay, Using regedt32 to
give back full access to the 'System', fixed the problem for me.
