windows update KB913446, error when trying to use windows updater

If you received an error message when you tried to use win updater to
download KB913446. Go to MS Download site and request kb913446. Do this
using either Mozilla or FoxFire. Once downloaded to your system, then you
can manually install. A Wizard helps along the way.

I did as you suggested and was able to download the update to my desktop.
However, when I tried to execute the file, it said that it is not a Win32
file. Does that meant This update is only for Win64 (if I'm using the correct
terminology)? Maybe this update is not for my Win XP professional? Thanks.

Did what you said as well, and like a fellow user stated, this is not a valid
win32 file. The title of the update exe seems to partain to the win 2003
server and indicates that it's for 64 bit? Something's amiss with the update
program. I wish the Gates Gang can correct this soon. Security is of prime
importance when running these OS's
