Windows Update Keeps Installing the Same Update

Security Update for Microsoft Data Access Components (KB832483)

This update has been installed roughly 10 times by now on my computer, and
the autoupdate keeps popping up with it.

I believe the cause might have something to do with the fact that my Windows
installation is not on my C:/ hard drive, but rather on my D:/ hard drive,
but I don't know what to do about this; all the other updates worked fine...

Have you searched d:\windows\windowsupdate.log for this KB?

No, but I did just now... It got installed several times, apparently,
because KB832483 came up several, several times in the log. I dunno how to
read this thing, though... =/

Sane problem here but I'm up to install number 18! Don't think it has
anything to do with D: drive.

Do you also have Windows 2000? Although I didn't mention it, that's the one
I"m using...

Install MDAC 2.8 Service Pack 1 before applying 832483
