Windows update keeps repeating the same updates

I have seen that there is a new updater but it never stops. It keeps on
repeating the same downloads. I tried windows update in explorer. Every time
i get the message that the installation was succesfull but the next minute i
get the same offer to install exact the same updates. How can I get rid of
this?

Specifically, which update are you attempting to install ? Is your
antivirus software running in the background ? Temporarily disable
it prior to attempting the install.
