Windows Update killing my driver

After getting the most recent windows update I was unable to use my Dual
Format Double Layer DVD+/-RW Drive. I got an error saying the driver was
corrupted or missing and after unscuccessfully trying to update it I did a
system recover to a few hours before I got the update. The drive then worked
but after reinstalling the update it stopped working again because of the
same problem.

Strongly recommend that you obtain any future drivers from the
manufacturer via their website.
