Windows update Killing

How do I kill windows update totaly!?!?
I want to get what I want, when I want !!!.
After almost 20 years with windows I can see what I need and when!!!
Running XPpro on some 20 machines, Why cant Microsoft deliver a deasent
product!
Of cause! you say buy Linux instaead!! The problem is that a change takes at
least 2 yearws, even if the idea is GOOD!

Maybe you mean Automatic Updates? If so, try right clicking on My
Computer/Properties/Automatic Updates and tell it to stop. Then, go to
Control Panel/Security Center/click on Change the Way Security Center
Alerts me and nuke Automatic Updates.
