Windows Update kills Norton/Symantec Internet Security

Since the last windows update (sun 27th aug.2006), my brand new 2006 symantec
Internet Security doesn't work anymore. I can even not uninstall it, the
programme doesn't react at all. What can I do? Thanks!

Using the Norton Removal Tool
The Norton Removal Tool uninstalls all Norton 2006/2005/2004/2003 products
from your computer.

Probably not related to WU but at least you will be able to uninstall and
reinstall NIS.
