windows update language

is there any relation between international settings and the language
of windows update packages?

I had to change the international settings on a number of clients for
sake of accounting software
now I am getting all updates in dutch although the OS (windows 2000) is
an english install

can I solve this with an additional setting in the registry or am I
stuck to the international settings I have setup
