Windows Update/Microsoft update Fixed!!

I was getting the error code too, and tried to use the fix solution mentioned
below, but that didn't work. But now I tried the microsoft update and now it
is working without error. Patch Tuesday just is not there yet. As I even
went thru all updates searching by date myself. Perhaps later microsoft will
have them up.

And the reason you're in a hurry to get the updates is? Prudence would
indicate waiting to see what happens to others before downloading and
installing updates.

As all know it's patch Tuesday, and like you must be trying to install the
patches too. Hence the servers cannot handle it, as know it's not working
for me again and I too am getting an error code. I'll wait til my windows
update see's it, and download itself. So why are you here Alias, prudence is
your in a hurry to see it yourself!!!

False, I am not trying to update at all.

Huh? I am here to see what happens to people like you who think they
should install updates as soon as the come out, of course!

I will wait until Friday so I have a few days to see what happens to
people like you who can't wait.

I think people are swamping the servers because a rumour was spread around
that IE7 final would be in this patch..which wont be the case.

Alias -- if everyone were as *prudent* as you advocate, there would be no
feedback for you to evaluate come Fridey. If you value the feedback from
early adopters, the least you can do is stop trying to disuade them from
updating quickly.
