Windows Update to Microsoft Update - Registry setting?

I'd like to move all my Windows computers from Windows Update to Microsoft
Update but can't find any documentation on does so via. a registry setting,
app install, etc. The other method I've found is via the web page on each
system. Is there a way to accomplish this, or is the only other option to
setup a WSUS server?

Using Vista's "Windows Update" includes the Microsoft update feature. You
can make sure by going to Windows Update and going into "change settings"
and making sure that "Use Microsoft Update" is checked under Update service.

I am not sure that I understand you answer.

When you say using vista, are you talking about an ADM template that came
with vista. Is all that stuff work for Windows XP. 100% of the pc I have on
my network are still XP. I am interested in using Microsoft Update on XP
machine.

I figured it out... You can use some VB-Script against the Windows Update
Agent to "Opt-in" the Microsoft Update service. I've tried it and it does
work. Here is where I found the information:
