Windows Update Not Accesible-Help

For some reason, my windows update is preventing mefrom access to the
internet. The weird thing is i can log on and have access to my earthlink
email (I can receive only....I cannot send, forward or reply in any way). I
have no access to my hotmail. It's keeps saying there's a problem with my
norton anti virus and when I ry to remove it, I keep getting the error
message that windows update is not accesisible. i need to find a way to
access or remove windows update to reinstall norton. Any solutions?

It does sound like a firewall problem. Stop your filewall and see if
that makes it work.

Stop your Anti Virus and try that. Then you will know where the problem is.

Else...

Have you recently removed some adware / spyware? or a worm? Some of
them can cause with your TCP/IP function.
