Windows Update Not Downloading!

I recently just installed a fresh install of Windows XP SP1, I then download
some updated and rebooted, and then downloaded and installed SP2.
After rebooting from SP2, I had a few updates to install, however only the
first 2 downloaded and after that the rest was all failed! I then reboot and
tried again, and only the MS.NET Update downloaded and installed and the rest
failed. I rebooted and tried again, and again, and again, but now I cannot
get anymore updates! Not even using automatic updates does it download.

What is wrong?

I have found that this problem is very common in Windows XP machines. I have
no idea why it happens, but once it happens, you will probably experience it
again and again. The following article has worked for me to fix it until the
next time I want to update. So I suggest, for lack of any better solution,
that you bookmark the following URL so you can get to it again easily. Just
follow the instructions and hopefully it will solve the problem for you too.
