I just received a new Dell and it came with Windows Vista installed.
Everything was fine through initial setup, but during the middle of the day,
a security alert popped up in my tray telling me my automatic updates were
off. So, I went to turn them on, and it wouldn't do it automatically, so I
had to do it manually, when I went into the control panel to access automatic
updates, I found that automatic updates and the whole Windows Update didn't
work. I open the window and nothing is in there except the green shield
icon. It looks like a bug, but I don't know.
Does anybody know what the problem may be?
