Windows update not working anymore

Cannot get any windows updates after downloads yesterday, exit code is now
0x80072EE2. URL's in the trusted zone, all other web activity works as
expected.
SoftwareDistribution folder renamed and tried again but still doesn't work.

Can anyone help?

Please post the last 40 or so lines of the WindowsUpdate.log that is
located in the WINDOWS directory [folder]. Make sure it includes at
least error code 0x80072EE2 and, any others present.

You may receive an "Error 0x80072EE2," "Error 0x80072EE7," "Error
0x80072EFD," "Error 0x80072F76," or "Error 0x80072F78" error message

This is now resolved, the problem was with the router not routing properly,
using NAT worked fine but when using a statically assigning a public IP
address it didn't work generating the EE2 error. Changed router and now
working OK.
