Windows Update for Office Pro 2007

I bought a new PC three months ago with Vista Home Premium installed on it.
Last week, I purchased and installed Office Professional 2007 on it and it's
working fine. The day after I installed Office Pro 2007, my automatic daily
Windows Update started listing updates for Office 2007 and I installed these
without problem.

However, a couple days ago Windows Update listed an "Office 2003 Service
Pack 3 (SP3)" update under the section "Office 2003". It is an "Important"
update with a published date of 10-9-2007. I have never had anything but
Office Pro 2007 installed on my PC, so I am leery of installing an Office
2003 Service Pack update. I ignore it but it keeps coming back every day in
Windows Update and wants me to install it. Should I, for some good reason,
install an Office 2003 update in my Office Pro 2007 application? I guess I
don't understand why Office 2007 would need an update for Office 2003, a
previous version.

Thanks in advance!

Do you have Office 2003 Web Components installed?

Not that I am aware of. I don't have anything installed on my computer that
says "Office 2003". What would an Office 2003 Web Component be? Examples?

TaurArian,

Thanks for the link. It turns out I do have Office 2003 Web Components
installed on my PC. It looks like it installed last week when I installed
Business Contact Manager for Outlook 2007 and Accounting Express 2007 (disk
2 of the Office Pro install).

I'm assuming that Web Components was not updated for Office 2007 so that is
why I am being directed to install/use Office 2003 Web Components instead,
correct?

I'm just trying to understand this instead of just blindly installing it,
but it looks like I should install it. Thanks again for your help.
