Hi Steven,

Try the following to register the library files.......

Go to Start>Run and key in:
REGSVR32 SOFTPUB.DLL
click on OK or hit ENTER
click on OK in the Dllregister server succeeded dialogue box

Go to Start>Run and key in:
REGSVR32 INITPKI.DLL
click on OK or hit ENTER
click on OK in the Dllregister server succeeded dialogue box

Go to Start>Run and key in:
REGSVR32 MSSIP32.DLL
click on OK or hit ENTER
click on OK in the Dllregister server succeeded dialogue box

Now see if you are successful when accessing Windows Update.

Regards,

Hello Patti,
Thanks for responding. I found a prior post that appeared similar to my
situation and suggested downloading and running a batch file. I tried that
and am now able to at least access the Update website where i'm "updating my
update software". Hopefully this will get me to be able to download
actually updates.
Thanks again!
Steve
