Lance,
Open Internet Options in the Control Panel.
On the first page, General, input the desire URL under Home page.
Click the User Current button.
Click Apply, OK.
If that did not resolve the issue, open the registry editor by going to
Start > Run
Type in regedit
Click OK
Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main
Click on the Main folder
In the right frame look for Start Page
Double click it
Input the full URL you desire. ex:
http://nytimes.com
Click OK.
Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main
Do the same as you did above *IF you have the only User Account* on the
system. If there are other Users, then do not edit this setting.
