What I did was to delete all reference to KB912475 using the regedit method,
then reinstalled KB912475 which gave me the uninstall files, then visited WU and
the update downloaded, installed and removed 912475.

| In trying to install update XP KB913670 it just tells me it did not install -
| no error message - no nothing - but everytime I shut down my computer this
| update still tries to install - I have a long running list in my updates of
| it trying to install. How can I get rid of this update so it goes away -
| since it will not install. I no longer have update XP KB912475 on my computer
| as the IT section of this advised to delete it. What can I do - it is an
| annoyance -
| Any assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
