Windows update problems solved - for now.

I had serious update problems this month as the 6 updates failed every time
I tried to install them. I hade it set for automatic download and then
notify me that they were ready to install at my leisure. Every time the
installation failed both when I tried all of them at once or one at a time.

finally I tried another way. I deleted the downloads and set automatic
updates at MS's leisure. Overnight the updates downloaded and installed
correctly.

I hope that MS fixes this problem as I prefer to handle the downloads and
installation on my own.

In the meantime I'm leaving it set to automatic download and install which
is what MS wants anyway.
