Windows update repeating XP SP2

Hi,
I have automatic updates switched on and hardly a day goes by that I am told
that I have have updates to install. Thing is they are always the same
updates (8 in total).
I download them and process them successfully (apparently!) and then I get
same thing the following day. Can somebody please help me with this
frustrating problem.

Do a couple of things:
Select Windows Update from your start menu or from IE Tools option. When at MS update site, just simply look at Options bar on the left, select "Review your update history". Look over the entries. Are they all marked with Green check mark? Any marked with a Red ball with X?

Second: Look at your log file for Windows Update.

Use Notepad or Wordpad and open & look at the Windows Update log file
C:\Windows\WindowsUpdate.log or C:\WINNT\WindowsUpdate.log

Do you see Error notations in the log? Errors are usually 0Xnnnnnnn (with some text)

Scroll down all the way for the set of lines for the last session.
Get / copy / paste (ideally, put into a file & attach in reply ) back here the set of lines for the last session.
