I was trying to update Windows XP Pro and had selected 4 updates to download
and install.
Windows Update hung (+24 hours of doing nothing) and had to close it from
the task manager.
Now after (several) reboots, whenever I try to run windows update it reports
the files as having a Download size of 0KB and 0 minutes ... and they will
not install.

Does anyone know how to remove all trace of what v5 of windows update has
done in the past?

I'm running WinXP Pro SP2.

Thanks.

Take a look at Kelly's http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_abc.htm
Select U and scroll to Updates.
