Windows Update Rollup 1 Sticking, MSXML 3.0 will not update

Windows Update Rollup 1 is sticking on my Win2K machine. (Win 2K 5.00.2195
SP4). I've read the other thrreads on this topic here and have run Baseline
Security Analyzer 1.2.1. The security analyzer says 'MSXML 3.0 MSXML 3.0 SP5
The latest service pack for this product is not installed. Currently SP5 is
installed. The latest service pack is SP7.' This does not show has required
by "windows update", but have downloaded and run 'msxml3.msi' anyway. This
runs without error, but re-running Baseline Security Analyzer gives the same
result - SP5 installed, need SP7. And of course there is no change in the
status of the Rollup installaton.
Any suggestions?
