Each time I try to reschedlue Windows update it reverts back to a default of
everyday at 3AM. Assistance would be most welcome.

Shenan

Hmm! Guilty me. I should have known better and supplied details.

XP, SP2. Logged in as Computer Administrator
Not a member of a domain. No local policies set by me to my
knowledge.(standalone PC on a simple LAN).

Get updates from a SUS/WSUS server - No.

Ok, I think I solved the problem. I was trying to change the update schedule
time by going to the Microsoft Update Home page and then clicking on 'Pick a
time to install updates'. Changing the time of 'Everyday as 3:00 am' would
always stay the same.

From the KB article I found that you change the update schedule by going to
Control Panel, double click on System and then select 'Automatic Updates'.

I don't know what the web site is supposed to do.
