Windows Update on Server 2K3

When doing automatic updates on server 2003, I get fauiled messages for all
updates. I tried downloading and installing them manually. THe IE update
dies witih a File is Corrupt error. I tried multiple times to fetch it.

The rest all say I don't have permission to apply updates. Yet I have been
logging in via RDP and doing updates as Admin on (This Computer), for 6
months.

these are the failing updates. Log follows.

Somehow Administrator Membership from the enterprise admins group had
disappeared.
I added Local machine admin back to it and It worked.

I I recall correctly. It was something like that I could have my group
fuzzed. Next ime I am there I will look in the log. Email me:

Just attempted to log in with the local admin ID and was able to patch
successfully. To be honest, I'm not sure which, if any, of the fixes I
attempted helped.

I was logging in with my domain ID before which is still having errors.
Though the issue is not 100% resolved, I can move forward with patches for
the time being.
