Hi,

I have xp professional sp2. From past few months, window update service is
not working. What happens is when a new update is available, it shows the
icon in taskbar for few mins and then it disappear. When system restart the
icon in taskbar is there for few mins and then disappear. I tried to see log
in event view but no log was made but recently i noticed a log in event view
which goes like...

DCOM got error "The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled
or because it has no enabled devices associated with it. " attempting to
start the service MDM with arguments "" in order to run the server:
{0C0A3666-30C9-11D0-8F20-00805F2CD064}

Could anyone help me to get rid of this problem...

Regards
Debugger
