Windows update service question....

You know how the first time you run windows update, you
can select for the service to automatically download and
install the updates at a certain day and time, or you can
choose to do it manually. I am wondering if anyone knows
how to go back and change it to auto-install after you
tell it manual. I work with many systems and hate having
to go do the updates manually and would love to be able
to go back and tell the update service to do it
automatically but I cannot find how to do that anywhere.

Control Panel\System, then select the "Automatic Updates" tab.

Alternatively, Start/Run --> sysdm.cpl

Yeah, I know that's where to find the icon, but if you
configure it the first time you run it for manual
downloads/ don't update, I will do it myself, when you go
to run the update program again, it just takes you out to
the windows update page at Microsoft. I want to know how
get to a place where I can reconfigure the update to
nolonger manually update, but to do it for me and install
the updates. I have looked on the Microsoft page and can
find no where where I can actually reset how the update
works once I do it the first time.

No, no, this will not start Windows Update, it will take you to the
place where you can reconfigure Automatic Updates:

Control Panel\System, then select the "Automatic Updates" tab.

Alternatively, Start/Run --> sysdm.cpl
