Question:
It seems like security fixes installed by Windows Server Update Services
does not create any entries within Add/Remove Programs folder is this a
normal behavour ?

Detail:
Normally when security fixes is installed by hand the installation will
create an corresponding entry within the Add/Remove Programs folder so that a
fix easily can be uninstalled if necessary, this seems however not to be the
case when a security fix is installed by WSUS.
I'm not sure if it's predecessor SUS 1.0 had the same behavour or not.

Platform:
Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition, SP1

Hi,

FYI:

Please post WSUS questions to the newsgroup dedicated to WSUS:
microsoft.public.windows.server.update_services

WebNews link to the WSUS newsgroup:
http://www.microsoft.com/communities...pdate_services

Or use a newsgroup reader (default Outlook Express) to access this new
group:

Clicking on this link should open this group in OE:

Hi,

Yes, the same client software (Windows Update Agent) is used for
both WSUS and Windows Update/Automatic Updates.
