Previously posted by mistake in windows server setup forum, but here is
the question
We would like to set up a internal "windows update server" to have our
client computers update from it.. Is WSUS what I want ot do I need SMS..
I want this server to hand out all updates (critical and optional) that
would come from "windowsupdate.microsoft.com" if we did not have this
server.
Thanks in advance
Doug

WSUS is probably what you need, try the WSUS Newsgroup for further information.

WSUS works in this case for sure/ They say that SMS has update features too,
but I didn't try
