Windows Update Shows Updates - Hitting Install RESHOWS Windows Upd

....and I cannot get past it - it's like it's in a loop and cannot get the
install items to display. It SHOWS on the left that there are updates, but
it keeps going back to a Windows Update Screen (within the original Windows
Update screen).

I have the same exact problem with windows xp sp2 italian version!
A possible workaround is to download manually every update, but it's to
long...

I have the same problem too!! It is bugging me out, someone should take a
look at it and fix it. Any recommendations?

What I have learned is this...

This is only happening with CUSTOM, and it's a MICROSOFT problem that they
have NOT fixed yet. EXPRESS works fine, though you won't be able to update
optional things until they fix this issue. What MS is waiting for...I have
no clue.
