WINDOWS UPDATE TODAY, ERROR 80070103

Trying to install todays update and I have Visa Home Premium. This update
came thru in May and I still can't install it. It is nVidia nf nForce
networking controller. Is this an important update. I do not network at all
but not sure what this nVidia is for. Anybody have any ideas on this update
and why it won't install. Thanks

Microsoft did not make your nVidia nForce netowrk controller - you shouldn't
get your support for it from them - so visit nVidia's web site and get the
latest driver from them and ignore the future hardware updates for
non-microsoft hardware offered by Microsoft.

You'll be happier for it. ;-)

0x80070103 - If it is a driver then the driver you are trying to install is
already installed or you’re trying to install an older driver.
It is my personal opinion that all drivers should be obtained from the
manufacturer's site rather than from Windows Update.
If it aint broke don't fix it.
