Since my name is also Anthony, I thought I pass along the tip that I found
We also have a Win2k server that fail to run the V6 version of Windows Update.
I finally found a way to go back to V4 when visiting
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com
1) move the file "wuweb.dll" from your c:\winnt\system32 directory to some
temp folder. (I suggest move instead of delete incase if something happens
you can move it back.)
2) also look for the "wuweb.dll file if you have a
c:\winnt\system32\dllcache directory and do the same thing.
3) try visiting windowsupdate.microsoft.com again.... you should be on V4
hope it works... let me know...
