Windows update for Windows 2000 Server

I cannot access Windows Update. Get Error number: 0xC80001FE and cannot find
that in the list

I get the exactly same error running Windows 2000 SP4

I'm running 2000 SP4 as well and I get the error too.
I have not found a solution yet either.

I am having the exact same problems as all of the above people - has anyone
found a solution?

Yes, I disabled the McAfee on access scan, and then it worked.
