Windows update keeps failing to install above updated via automatic update.
No other detil given other than installed 'Failed'

Any Ideas

exact same problem for me .. have a Dell Latitude D400.

No debug info is give. Here's a blurb from the update log:

Have you tried to get drivers direct from Dell? Using video drivers
from
Windows Update isn't a good idea.
