I want to Save Space and delete unnecessary files after installing a
Windows Update patch or Service Pack.

The above will show you how to remove the uninstall files and entries in
Add/Remove Programs but still retain the updated files and registry
entries from the updates.
This way the system is protected, the uninstall files are deleted, and
the entries that you find annoying in Add/Remove Programs are gone.
