If you go to Windows Update and select Express, you can choose which to
install.
Generally you should not get a Driver Update from Windows Update.
If a driver shows up as anything but Critical, check with the hardware
manufacturer and determine if there is a benefit for you and get it directly
from the manufacturer.
If the driver is a Critical Update, check with the manufacturer.
It is more likely you need the newer driver to resolve a performance issue.
But still get the driver from the hardware manufacturer and not Microsoft.
The drivers distributed by Microsoft are from the hardware manufacturer but
because of the certification process, are probably older than the drivers
found on the manufacturers web site.
