Windows updates fail after 3.1 installer and WSUS server on networ

I have two exchange servers that fail to get updates from a WSUS server I set
up. I know that this is not the issue for here, but my problem is that both
exchange servers no longer get updates form the windows update website
either. This is after installing the new 3.1 installer to make it work with
WSUS RC1. Any help on rolling back windows installer 3.1 or getting the
windows update site to function properly? Is there a way to get windows
update components to reset so i can re-download the scanning and installation
history components of the website update?
