Windows Updates Keep SQL Agent From Running

Installed 9 Window patches/updates last night. Now Microsoft Small Business
Accounting 2007 Professional will not work. Using Windows XP Pro SP3.

Traced the problem using Microsoft info on Error 1053 with out any positive
results.

I'm out of business until this is fixed.

Any suggestions?
