I have the windows updates sent to my computer automatically and then I
choose when to install them. I have been installing the updates and after I
do this I get the message that the updates were successfully installed.
However, I just noticed that the updates I have installed during the month of
September are not showing up in the Control Panel under Add/Remove Programs.
What could be causing this and how do I fix it? Appreciate any help anyone
can give. Thanks.

Not all updates will show in Add/Remove Programs.
Updates without an uninstall feature will not be there since they can not be
uninstalled.

Is "Show Updates" checked in Add/Remove Programs?

Does your windowsupdate.log show that updates were installed on or after 12
Sept-06?

How to read the Windowsupdate.log file:

Thanks "PA Bear". I have to admit I never paid attention to the box that
says Show Updates. Sure enough it wasn't checked. I checked it and sure
enough they are there. Thanks so much. I guess at one time it was checked
and then somehow got unchecked.

IIRC, the default for that box is unchecked.
So unless you checked it previously, it is the default.
