I received and unknown error
-- WindowsUpdate_00000BC2" "WindowsUpdate_dt000" which means some of the
important updates didn't work, i can't fix it if i don't know what the
problem is. Has anyone seen this before and knows what sort of error this is.

The same for me. I don't know wha't the problem is. It's a update for windows
live
Update voor Windows Live Sign-In Assistant (KB 967912)

Downloadgrootte: 1,7 MB

Type update: Belangrijk

Installeer deze update voor de meest recente versie van Windows Live Sign-In
Assistant.

uninstall?

This is a bad way to reinstall whole product to get a little update

There is no need to uninstall anything.
I solved this problem by downloading and installing the latest version of
messenger from http://download.live.com/messenger.
Easy!
