I am having a problem with my windows vista updates, can you give me any help
please?Im running vista home premium 64 bit.On my off switch and each time i
turn my pc off it trys to install the updates but always fails which is
annoying!I have the icon for updates on my off switch. It is strange because
all other updates work and install when the come about but this is the same
one each time and it won't go!It is a recomended type and says "update for
windows vista for x64-based systems (KB31099)" published 10/04/2007 error
code is 800736CC.Please can you help me?

I have tried to contact windows on the stuff that is set up but you only
have 90 days from that date that windows has been activated right??I bought
my pc about 5 months ago,it arrived with windows vista installed also i got
the software disks and codes as well.So does this mean i will have to pay for
windows to help me?I'm quite desperate here!I have tried entering my pid and
key codes etc but it just dosn't work!

Many Vista users are having the same problem. Please report it by opening a
free support incident: MS needs a "body count" before they'll do anything
about it!

Start a free Windows Update support incident request:
https://support.microsoft.com/oas/de...spx?gprid=6527

Support for Windows Update:
http://support.microsoft.com/gp/wusupport

For home users, no-charge support is available by calling 1-866-PCSAFETY in
the United States and in Canada or by contacting your local Microsoft
subsidiary. There is no-charge for support calls that are associated with
security updates. When you call, clearly state that your problem is related
to a Security Update and cite the update's KB number (e.g., KB123456).

For more information about how to contact your local Microsoft subsidiary
for security update support issues, visit the International Support Web
site: http://support.microsoft.com/common/international.aspx

For enterprise customers, support for security updates is available through
your usual support contacts.
