Hey guys I've been ripped off by a computer dealer that my mom got our 2
computers for. Exactly the same. Our windows are pirated I guess and we
can't validate by any means to get the new IE 7, Windows Media 11, and other
updates etc. Is there any possible way to cheat the system somehow. .
pardon my french. . and maybe get around it? If not I guess I'm gonna just
have to wait till I can get a new comp. . or buy the damn Windows XP
software from Wal-Mart. Another question. . if I have to do that, can it be
installed on multiple computers?

Hi Mike,

Get to your compter dealer for a licensed version, I assume you payed for
it?.

Asking here for a workround for a pirated version is not the right way

A valid licence is for one computer only, you will need a XP legal version
for each computer.

The good news is that Microsoft offers XP to you cheaper when you have a
pirated version

Best regards,
Michel Denie

Please follow this simple troubleshooting procedure, courtesy of MS MVP
Carey Frisch:

1. Download and install the WGA Diagnostic Tool
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=56062

2. After running the WGA Diagnostic Tool, click on the "Windows" tab and
then click on "Copy to Clipboard".

3. Next, visit the following website and create a post in the "WGA
Validation Problems" forum and paste the results of the WGA Diagnostic Data
in a detailed post:
http://forums.microsoft.com/Genuine/...aspx?SiteID=25

4. A WGA troubleshooting specialist will analyze the data and recommend an
appropriate solution.

No need to troubleshoot a pirated version

True, but an expert in the referenced forum can give Mike ways to get a
legal version installed.

Mike is very thankfull for any correct answers?

Well Thank you.

Just told you like it is but it seems you do not appreciate the truth?

1 licence is for one PC only, asking for validation workaround is illegal.

It is common knowledge that what someone thinks of the other tells more
about that person than of the other one

Have a great Christmas and best wishes for the new year to come.
