windows virtual machine 816093

I am having the same problem as several people, but I have tried all the
suggested solutions, and still keep coming back to the same thing. Every
time I start up my computer, I get a notice that I have updates to install.
The only one is 816093. Then I install it, get the notice that "setup will
only upgrade over an existing version of the Microsoft VM", and when I
restart my computer I'm back to the notice that I have updates to install. I
tried looking in Tools, Internet Options,Advanced, to see if I have VM, I
don't see it. I tried the link to uninstall VM, I uninstalled the J2SE
Runtime Environment version I have on my comptuer, then installed the newest
version from the Java sun website. Nothing has seemed to help. I have
restarted my computer so many times, I'm afraid it's going to wear itself
out! Please help me!

you should install Java first and then the update.
If you have something like MS Java version 3805,
then the 816093 updates it to version 3810, which
is the latest version.
