Windows Vist RC1

I recently installed and purchased the RC1 dsic from MS and now my build
number is 5600,however I recall seeing a more recent version somewhere
because the build number was higher. I suspect the windows update is not
updating? Can anyone confirm this? If so how do I get the most recent version?

Windows Update is not intended to and will not upgrade Windows Vista.

Windows Vista RC-1 is the latest build currently available to the public.
Vista Build 5744 was released to Technical Beta testers earlier today and
MAY be released publicly in about a week (my guess).
MSDN subscribers and others will probably get Vista before the general
public.

When available, you should be able to get Vista RC-2 here:
