Windows Vista 64 OEM Will Not Run

I recently finished building a computer, installed vista with no problems.
Computer ran fine. Overclocked cpu vista crashed no hardware damage. Reset
BIOS but made the mistake of re-formating my RAID. Now i cannot get vista to
run or reinstall. Gets to the "completing installation" step and shuts down
but will not start back up and finish installation. When it restarts I get a
quick blue screen then immediate shut down. If I try and run windows without
booting from disc I get several different outcomes. One says installation
needs to restart due to instalation error. One is a quick blues screen
followed by imediate restart. Sometimes it just freezes while windows is
loading. I used command prompt to reformat and clear the RAID drives but my
RAID set up utlitly says there is roughly 936GB free? I have 2 500GB WD HD's
there should be more free space than that. Any suggestions would be great!

No you don't. You have two 468GB drives.

All hard drive manufacturers define 1GB as 1,000,000,000 bytes, while
the rest of the computer world, including Windows, defines it as 2 to
the 30th power (1,073,741,824) bytes. So 1000 billion bytes is
actually about 936GB.

Some people point out that the official international standard defines
the "G" of GB as one billion, not 1,073,741,824. Correct though they
are, using the binary value of GB is so well established in the
computer world that I consider using the decimal value of a billion to
be deceptive marketing.

Reset BIOS settings to failsafe defaults. Remove discs from
RAID. Boot Linux cd or dos diskette. Use fdisk and remove all existing
partitions.

couple of things to check,

1. is the raid setting set as the default first drive , that’s means is the
system able to read the boot sector after first boot.

2. is the RAM ok , BSOD usually could be because of that.

3. increase the DIMM voltage and/or check for DIMM errors
