Hello,

I currently have Windows Vista Home Premium with Digital Cable support. I
would like to upgrade to Windows Vista Ultimate. If I do the Anytime
Upgrade, will it support Digital Cable?

Thanks,

John Chapman

Ultimate is considered a 'superset' of Home. Anything Home will do, Ultimate
can do and more.

I understand that, but the issue is in order for me to be able to use my
CableCARD tuners, I need to have Windows with Digital Cable Support. One the
OEM sticker it has a second key for Digital Cable. Windows Vista Ultimate
and Home Premium both work the same way in this regard.

What I need to know is, will the anytime upgraded version of Ultimate be
Digital Cable ready since Home Premium was ?

Yes, not that, nor any of the other apps you have installed, will be
disabled in an upgrade.

Vista Ultimate is "Ultimate" and MS means it. It is a great system.
