Windows Vista Black Screen after login

I've this problem and i'm sorry for the bad english, but i'm italian
I've find the problem in this forum, but i haven't found the solutio
for me, and now i've open a new thread, and if the moderator o
administrator would delete or move this post, for me there aren'
problem, the important is "resolve my problem"

THIS IS THE PROBLEM
I've black screen after auto-login in vista business. I've Fujits
Siemens PC with the original license and i've GeForce 8700GT Video Card
When i arrived to black screen i've the mouse pointer but i can't mak
nothing (ex. CTRL+ALT+DEL, WIN+R, WIN+E, CTRL+ALT+ESC). I've attend 1
minutes but the screen remaining black. When the vista worke I ha
disabled "restore point" and so..when i click (in F8 mode) the voic
"LAST CONFIGURATION ... " the black screen is always with me :
help me please, i'm very desperate!
PS I've tried to restore vista and i've make CHKSDK, i haven't othe
idea

"Last known etc" is nothing to do with restore Points.
It literally means what it says.

When you tap F8, what happens if you try and go into "Safe Mode"?
Also, you do not say if you have the Vista DVD.

If you don't have the DVD, download the above ISO file(about 120MB), and
make a bootable disk from it.
All info at that site on how to do that.

Then you can boot with that work disk, and do a startup repair.
It is NOT a Vista re-install disk.

Hi
I have a Vista pc that boots up and runs till just before the Vist
logo when it idles to a complete stand still on a black screen.
The desktop is fairly simple in its components with nothing fancy othe
than MB, CPU, RAM and HDD. I cant even access safe mode and restor
points have never been set.
I have tried several ideas that I have read off the net but nothin
works.

Help please and thank you in advance.
